Able Active Friends
Able Active friends is a service set up for mobile, lonely, isolated Senior Citizens in the Wokingham Borough by Age Concern.
This service provides a variety of outings and activities in small groups (max 10 per group) one Wednesday a month in four areas of the Borough.
We
have enjoyed trips to museums, National Trust Houses, lunches at a number
of local pubs and restaurants.
Activities requested by the AAF members have been floristry, drama, guest speakers, cookery and many more.
