Brief history of Age Concern Woodley

Age Concern Woodley provides services to care for and support older people in Woodley and the surrounding District.

The Charity has been in existence for over 40 years and , whilst initially it began as a luncheon club, services have developed and been re-shaped over the years to engage with the active over 50s in the community; support for carers of those with Alzheimer's and dementia including short break and respite day and overnight care; day care provisions for older people include those with disabilities.

The heart of the organisation is to provide high quality care for those the organisation seeks to serve.
